History of Apple

As the story goes, in 1976 Steve Wozniak and Steve Jobs built the first Apple computer in their garage. They did not have a name for their computer. Both engineers tossed many names around. One finally said to the other, if they could not think of a name by the end of the day, they would call it apple. The rest is history!

The Apple PC became very popular and sold very well. In 1984 Apple introduced their Macintosh or Mac, with an "easy to learn" graphical user interface or GUI. The Macintosh has met with great success in the industry.
